Mindfulness & Embodied Awareness

Developing the ability to focus attention in the present moment enables you to tune in to daily experiences rather than responding automatically or by habit. When you are mindful, you become more aware of what is happening within you and can respond to changes in your life and health in a proactive and engaging way.

For some clients, movement and meditation practices are the foundation for well-being.

Understanding your body, mind, and energy system are foundational to self-care, self-esteem, and self-empowerment. Staying in the present moment alleviates the stress and worry of living in the past or future and helps us to be here now and make choices for our best health.

You cultivate interoception,  a lesser-known sense that helps you understand and feel what's happening inside your body and mind.

Often, stress is a trigger that can lead back to old behaviors. Self-awareness or mindfulness around a situation can help move us from a reaction-response to a self-empowering response.

Coaching sessions will help you develop self-awareness and self-agency through mindfulness practices. These practices will help align you with your inner wisdom and authentic needs and desires.

As a formally trained mindfulness, movement, and Qigong instructor, I have taught many styles that promote good health physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Mindfulness and embodied awareness maintain a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and the surrounding environment through a gentle, nurturing lens.  Staying in the present moment alleviates the stress and worry of living in the past or future and helps us to be here now and make choices for our best health.
